A LIVE 7-Week Online Mentoring Circle for Experienced Yoga Teachers
For many experienced yoga teachers, there comes a time when the outer structures of teaching—classes, studios, trainings, certifications, and even professional success—no longer fully answer the deeper questions that first drew us to yoga. What once felt energizing may begin to feel repetitive. The pressure to market ourselves, build a following, or keep pace with an ever-changing industry can quietly pull us away from the practices that nourish us. We may find ourselves carrying disappointment, fatigue, uncertainty, or grief while continuing to hold space for everyone else.
These seasons are not signs that something has gone wrong. They are part of the natural maturation of a teacher.
Teaching yoga is more than sharing postures or philosophy. It is a lifelong process of becoming. As we mature, the questions change. We become less concerned with proving ourselves and more interested in serving with integrity. We seek companions who understand the unique joys and challenges of a life devoted to practice and teaching. A Place to Land is a seven-week online mentoring circle created for experienced yoga teachers who want a place to pause, reflect, and continue that journey in good company.
Part support circle and part professional mentoring, this course offers a thoughtful environment where teachers can reconnect with the spiritual heart of yoga, speak honestly about the realities of teaching, and deepen their capacity to lead from authenticity, wisdom, and experience. This is not therapy, nor is it a traditional teacher training. It is a collegial community devoted to honest conversation, reflective practice, and the continuing evolution of the teacher.
The Journey
October 8th: The Call
Return to the experiences, teachers, and longings that first drew you to yoga. Reconnect with the values that continue to inspire your practice and consider what is calling for your attention now.
October 15th: The Roles We Play
Explore the many identities we assume as teachers: guide, mentor, healer, expert, business owner, lifelong student. Reflect on which roles continue to serve your work and where greater freedom and authenticity may be emerging.
October 22nd: What We Carry
Create space for the realities that often remain unspoken: burnout, disappointment, financial pressures, difficult relationships, uncertainty, aging, changing capacities, and the emotional weight of holding space for others. Practice meeting these experiences with honesty, compassion, and perspective.
October 29th: Finding Your Voice
Clarify the perspective that only years of practice and teaching can cultivate. Refine your ability to teach from lived experience, trusting your own observations, questions, and insights rather than external expectations or passing trends.
November 5th: The Gift of Experience
Consider how mistakes, failures, unexpected detours, and hard-earned lessons have shaped your teaching. Explore how maturity invites greater humility, discernment, patience, and generosity.
November 12th: The Company We Keep
Reflect on the importance of collegial relationships, wise mentors, meaningful friendships, and supportive communities. Discover how authentic dialogue and shared inquiry strengthen both practice and teaching.
November 19th: Returning to the Work
Gather the insights of the previous weeks and articulate a vision for the next season of your teaching. Leave with renewed purpose, practical intentions, and a deeper commitment to the work that is uniquely yours to offer.
