Scholarships
At Yogaversity, our mission is rooted in access, integrity, and community impact.
We believe that high-quality yoga education should be available to as many sincere students and teachers as possible—especially those whose work supports healing, resilience, and positive change within their communities. Yoga teachers play a meaningful role in shaping individual lives and collective wellbeing, and we are deeply committed to supporting that work.
At the same time, Yogaversity is a small, teacher-led organization. In order to fairly compensate our instructors and continue producing thoughtful, high-quality trainings, we must balance accessibility with long-term sustainability.
Our scholarship program is one way we work to hold both of these values with care.
How Yogaversity Scholarships Work

Scholarships cover a portion of tuition only.
At this time, we are not able to offer full scholarships, and most awards are modest. -
Scholarships are limited and not guaranteed.
Awards are reviewed holistically and depend on available funds, program eligibility, and instructor approval. -
Scholarships are program-specific.
Not all trainings offer scholarships. Availability and criteria vary by program and are determined in collaboration with the course instructor and their own teaching policies. -
Scholarships must be approved before registration.
Awards cannot be applied retroactively after you have registered for a training. -
Submitting a complete application matters.
Please provide as much information as possible so we can thoughtfully assess your request and level of need.

Program outcomes, certifications, and teaching permissions are governed by each instructor’s requirements. - We are unable to reserve or hold spots in a training until registration is complete.
Our Review Process
Scholarship requests are reviewed on a rolling basis when available. Decisions are made with care, discretion, and respect for both individual circumstances and the sustainability of our programs. Submitting an application does not guarantee an award, but every request is read and considered thoughtfully.

If you are applying for a scholarship, we trust that you are doing so in good faith—seeking support during a moment of financial constraint, not as a default. Our hope is that Yogaversity trainings support your growth, your teaching, and the communities you serve, and that as circumstances allow, you’ll continue to support ethical, teacher-led education in return.
