Awakening the Inner Life of Teaching: A Journey of Inspiration, Understanding, Experience, and Integration

A Live 8-Week Online Mentorship with Christina Sell

A Live 8-Week Online Mentorship with Christina Sell

Yoga, at its essence, is not a commodity to be consumed but a path of education, self-inquiry, and transformation. In this 8-session online training, Christina Sell invites you to explore yoga as a living, educational process—one that draws forth wisdom from within through four interrelated stages: Inspiration and Aim, Information and Theory, Practice and Experience, and Integration and Articulation.

Drawing from her essay “The Four-Fold Educational Process of Yoga”, Christina illuminates how these stages interweave to create a holistic and sustainable yoga journey. Participants will study the psychological, philosophical, and practical dimensions of yoga as both students and teachers, moving beyond consumer-oriented approaches toward an empowered, educational relationship with practice.

Each session blends lecture, discussion, guided practice, reflection, and writing, fostering a learning environment that is at once grounded, heartfelt, and transformative. You will be invited to inquire deeply, to meet both comfort and challenge with curiosity, and to discover how your own direct experience becomes the teacher over time.

Join live – if you need to miss a session or two, that’s ok! You’ll be able to watch the recording and join in again live after.

  5. Week 5, March 19th: Practice and Experience: The Practice of the Practice

“A deep reservoir of philosophy, yoga history, and human learning patterns. Christina’s mastery in the various aspects of teaching yoga became apparent to me during my 300-hr teacher training. Christina’s dedication to learning and teaching is infused in each class, and each module or area of focus is organized and designed for her students to both learn the information while also absorbing what each principle feels like in the body. Christina is a unique treasure in the world of yoga teacher training with her deep reservoir of philosophy, yoga history, and human learning patterns, along with refined teaching techniques such as specificity and economy of language, demos, props and sequencing. I highly recommend Christina Sell as a wonderful and masterful teacher of teachers.”

My teaching has already improved. This training was fantastic and covered so much material, including communication and language, philosophy, approaches to asana and more. Christina did an amazing job leading the training and managed to create cohesion and community in an online-only training. She also brought in several outstanding experts for guest lectures. My teaching has already improved from the techniques, approaches, and ideas from this training that I’ve started to incorporate into my classes over the past year.”

“I feel spacious, confident, integrated, and inspired. Christina transcends ‘next-level’ as a teacher, mentor, and guide. She embodies grace, wisdom, and compassion. Christina builds a container that is brave and encourages vulnerability. She took me beyond the depths of courageous introspection and led me to self-compassion. After immersing myself in her loving instruction, I feel spacious, confident, integrated, and inspired. I went into this training looking for a safe place to become a better teacher, find a diverse community, and take a deep dive into myself. I came out of the year of study with the grace of great things assimilating into the tissues of my body. Spend some time in this safe harbor studying, practicing, and in community with Christina Sell. It’s a portal to self-love, transformation, transcendence, and awakening.”
