This all-levels vinyasa class is designed to support balance during the holiday season, when the light, cool, and mobile qualities of Vata often increase. These qualities can feel uplifting, yet may also leave you feeling distracted, anxious, rushed, overwhelmed, or depleted.
Drawing on Ayurvedic principles, this practice uses grounding movement, steady breath, and gentle heat to help you warm from within and settle your mental pace. The sequence includes sun salutations, forward folds, seated twists, and belly-down backbends, along with calming pranayama and a restorative savasana. Closed-chain postures are emphasized to create stability and ease in both body and mind.
Props: A block (or stack of books), a blanket, socks, and an eye pillow if you like using one.

Kathryn, I was not able to take the live course so I am grateful for the recorded version even though live is more fun. The class was awesome. Thank you very much for sharing. Hope to catch another class with you soon. So happy to see that your name is spelled the same as my given name – also Kathryn. Your class was awesome.
